Flydubai and civil aviation officials have denied reports that the low-cost carrier will begin passenger operations through Dubai World Central airport by 2013. \"Flydubai does not have any plans to move operations to Dubai World Central by early 2013. We are happy with our current home at Dubai Terminal 2, which is convenient for passengers while offering us operational efficiency,\" a flydubai spokesperson said in an email to Gulf News. However, flydubai said it will consider such a move in the future. \"We believe that the new facilities are a good move for the industry and will prompt further growth for the region. If and when we do start operations there, it will be in addition to our existing operations at Terminal 2,\" its spokesperson said. Paul Griffiths, chief exec-utive of Dubai Airports, confirmed that there are no plans for the relocation of flydubai to DWC airport from Dubai International Airport at this stage and any DWC flights would be an addition rather than a relocation. \"Flydubai is an important customer in Dubai Airports. We are expanding Terminal 2 and work is under way to accommodate the expansion of flydubai,\" he said. The expansion will help fuel flydubai\'s route growth, according to the carrier. \"The expansion under way at Dubai International Airport will also create extra capacity to assist flydubai\'s continued route network expansion in the years ahead,\" the spokesperson said. This comes after media reports earlier yesterday that DWC, the emirate\'s second airport, will begin passenger operations in early 2013 with budget airline flydubai
