The first Indian to get a visa-on-arrival in the UAE arrived in Dubai on Monday morning, May 1st, according to an online statement by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai.
The agency also shared a photo of the passenger on its Instagram page, and shared that under new rules, Indians holding a valid US visa for at least six months, or a green card issued by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, would be able to avail a visa on arrival in the UAE.
Reports online also say that the visa would be valid for a period of 14 days, and could be extended once more for another 14 days.
