Emirates Airline suspends flights to Baghdad

Emirates Airline on Tuesday announced that it has suspended its flights to and from Baghdad, Iraq, until further notice citing operational and safety concerns.
In a statement, an Emirates Airline spokesperson said 'Our services to other points in Iraq - Erbil and Basra continue to operate as scheduled.'
The carrier said that it remains committed to its customers in Iraq and hopes to resume services to Baghdad as soon as operational conditions allow us to do so.
