The four boycotting countries of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain will allow Qatari planes to use air corridors in emergencies.
Nine air corridors have been identified in collaboration between the civil aviation authorities in the UAE, KSA, Bahrain and Egypt and the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) to be used by the Qatari planes in emergencies with effect from August 1. They include one in international air space over the Mediterranean sea that will be monitored by the Egyptian authorities.
