Minister of Tourism Hisham Zaazou leaves Cairo on Thursday for the US on a three-day visit, during which he will tour the States of New York and Florida.
In statements to MENA Tuesday, the minister said that he will meet officials in charge of tourism to discuss cooperation between the two sides.
Zaazou said he will also meet with US tour operators and aviation companies officials to discuss the problems that hinder US tourism to Egypt, in addition to officials in charge Spanish and Portuguese companies.
He said that Egyptian tourism is returning to normal, expecting the number of tourists visiting Egypt to increase in the coming stage.
