The General Union of Civilian Pilots and the Egyptian Pilots Association launched an international initiative "United by Wings" to support the victims of EgyptAir plane that crashed in the Mediterranean Sea on May 19, with 66 people on board.
In a joint statement on Thursday, the two associations said they coordinated with the Air Line Pilots Association ( ALPA) and the International Federation of Air Line Pilots' Associations (IFALPA) to launch the initiative.
The initiative will start as of today and for three days. According to the initiative, all pilots will take photos while they are holding a distinctive logo bearing the number of the ill-fated flight "804".
All the photos will be collected and published on social media.
