EgyptAir Holding Company on Tuesday signed a cooperation protocol with Prime Pharma Corp. on running a campaign, dubbed "World free of Hepatitis C (tour and cure)".
Medical tourism represents five percent of the tourism movement worldwide, with a total cost of dlrs 40 billion, said Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company Safwat Mosallam.
The protocol, he noted, aims to lure medical tourism to Egypt and facilitate the exchange of doctors and patients at special prices in order to provide a better service.
For his part, Chairman of Prime Pharma Corp. Tamer Wagih said the protocol includes selecting the best hospitals, hotels as well as tourist destinations and services.
Wagih also pointed out to cooperation between Prime Pharma and EgyptAir, which has supported the campaign through providing sales and exempting clients from meeting the booking conditions.
