Minister of Tourism Khaled Ramy on Tuesday held talks in the UAE with Chairman of Abu Dhabi Authority of Tourism Sheikh Sultan bin Tahoun al Nuhayyan and acting CEO of the Tourism Sector in the UAE Sultan Hamad al Zahery.
The meeting is aimed at discussing means of promoting joint cooperation in the tourism domain.
Ramy is visiting the UAE to take part in the Arab Tourism Market that is being held in Dubai on May 4-7.
The two sides reviewed several measures for promoting tourism between the two countries.
Ramy further made reference to a plan for opening a tourist promotion office in Abu Dhabi as part of efforts to enhance tourism between both countries.
The meeting also touched on the tourist potentials that Egypt enjoys particularly in Sharm el Sheikh, Luxor and Aswan along with Hurghada.
Meanwhile, Ramy also held talks with Secretary General of the International Tourism Organization Taleb Refaei on means of promoting the tourist movement to Egypt.
