The Egyptian Embassy in Berlin and its tourism office will promote Egypt's tourist destinations through some shows and documentary films to be displayed during the annual German exhibition for economic cooperation and development, Egypt's Ambassador to Germany Mohamed Hegazi said.
Hegazi told MENA that documentary films will shed light on Egyptian monuments as well as the high-level hotel infrastructure in the country.
The exhibition draws 5,000 visitors every year.
The Egyptian tourism office in Berlin will distribute flyers in German language on the different tourist places in Egypt as part of efforts to boost the tourism sector.
On the sidelines of the event, the embassy will make a presentation on one of the Egyptian-German development programs dedicated for slums development.
The program, that has been implemented over the past 10 years, aims at improving services and environmental conditions for the urban poor in the Greater Cairo Region.
Germany contributes 9.5 million euros to the program while the EU contributes 40 million euros.
