Egypt came as the first choice for Polish tourists to spend the Easter vacation, Egypt’s Ambassador to Poland Youssef Zada said Saturday.
The embassy in Warsaw, supported by the ministries of foreign affairs and tourism along with the Tourism Promotion Authority, exert several efforts to contact Polish officials, Zada added.
Some 39% of the Polish tourists chose Egypt to be their destination during the Easter holiday, while 11% of them will head for Austria and 8% will go to Italy, he said.
Poland is a very important partner to Egypt in the field of tourism, Zada said.
