EgyptAir Cargo signed on Sunday an agreement with Sarko Overseas Company and Chadian Trade Company whereby regular cargo flights will be operated between Cairo and N'Djamena.
In a statement, EgyptAir Cargo Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Captain Bassem Gohar said that EgyptAir seeks to expand in the African continent through promoting Egyptian products in the growing African market and also to make good use of available resources in the two countries.
The accord was inked by Head of the Economic Sector at EgyptAir Reda Ghali and the Chadian company representative Ahmed Shaker and Board chairman of Sarko Company Ibrahim Al Fayomi.
This comes within the state's policy to boost trade movement between Egypt and African states.
