Specialists of Saudi aviation investigations office have downloaded and analyzed all audio and digital data of Saudi Arabian Airlines plane whose wheels were stuck in the dirt area while proceeding toward the runway at Manila airport in the ninth of the month of Shawwal in the presence of the investigating team from the Aviation Authority of the Philippines.
In a report today, the office explained that it offered support and assistance for the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines in the analysis of the data for the purposes of the investigation into the incident. An investigation team of the Aviation Authority of the Philippines arrived in the Kingdom on 5 Dhu-AlQa'dah 1435 H. to use the capabilities of the office and specialists in the data analysis in the lab dedicated to this purpose.
The office reported that the investigation team from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines will take over responsibility of the preparation of the final report of the incident at a later date and will supply the aviation investigations office with the final draft before the report's release.
