The Cruise Ship \"Dawn Princess\" today visited the Sultanate with \"2800\" passengers on board including \"1950\" tourists on a short visit to Salalah Port within its tourism programme in a number of world ports. The tourism programme of the cruise ship\'s passengers included visiting the most archeological and historic landmarks in the Governorate of Dhofar, such as, sites of frankincense tree in Wadi Adonab, Al Baleed Archaeological Park, the Museum of the Frankincense Land and Jabal Attin, as well as, visiting the beaches and popular markets (Souq) in the Wilayat of Salalah. It is worth mentioning that the Cruise Ship \"Dawn Princess\" is coming from Dubai Port, UAE and it will leave Salalah Port heading for Aqaba Port in Jordan. Selecting Salalah Port as a tourism destination comes due to its distinguish location that overlooks the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean, besides, the tourism potentials and facilitations offered by Salalah Port Services Company, Royal Oman Police (ROP), Tourism Ministry, trade ships agencies and tourism companies in the Sultanate.
