From its cabin amenities to its enhanced meal service, Air France is continuing to innovate as part of its efforts to provide ever more refined service, combining modernity and comfort in 2012. In-flight cuisine revisited by renowned chefs By enhancing its menu with dishes signed by renowned Chefs such as Joël Robuchon, the chef with the most Michelin stars, by offering menus, tableware and amenities kits which are more contemporary and regularly renewed, Air France intends to surprise customers and maintain its role as ambassador of fine French cuisine and lifestyle. Two thirds of the fleet equipped with the new Business class seat One year after its launch, Air France is continuing to equip its long-haul fleet with its new Business class seat. Longer, more spacious and 5 kg lighter, this “full sleep” seat is both more comfortable and environment-friendly. Already available on over 25 routes, it will equip two-thirds of the fleet by the end of 2012, i.e. close to 70 aircraft – Boeing 777, Boeing 747, Airbus A330, Airbus A340 and Airbus A380. More personalized service on board Air France also wants to take personalized service on board one step further, and is highlighting attention paid to passengers. This is illustrated by concrete and individual gestures and attitudes, so that each customer remembers his trip as a privileged moment. There is a complete training course for all long-haul cabin crew on these service signatures and close to 80% of pursers have already been trained.
