Afriqiyah Airways has started to operate flights from Libya's Mitiga International Airport to the Jordanian capital Amman, and then from Mitiga to Egypt's Alexandria.
"The flights to Amman already started on Friday, while they will be resumed to Alexandria as of Sunday through passing Al Abraq International Airport," the company said on its website on Saturday.
The Afriqiyah Airways flights to Amman and Alexandria were suspended a month ago after a decision by the air navigation of the eastern region that banned the international flights coming from the Tripoli-based Mitiga airport.
