As many as 40 flights, carrying 3,255 tourists from different nationalities, arrived or took off from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport over the past 24 hours, a South Sinai official said.
Ten international and ten domestic flights carrying 1,863 passengers, Maj. Gen. Essam Khedr, the head of operations and crises department in South Sinai, stated.
Meanwhile, 10 domestic and ten international flights left the airport with 1,392 passengers on board, Khedr added.
