The Assistant Undersecretary for Exits, Research and Follow-up at the General Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Residence (GDNPR) has announced that the total number of passengers who entered Bahrain between August 18 and 24, 2011 topped 144373. The weekly survey issued by GDNPR revealed that 115911 crossed King Fahad causeway from Saudi Arabia and the GCC countries, 28309 entered the kingdom from Bahrain International Airport and 153 from Khalifa bin Salman Port, he pointed out.
