President of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz received on Sunday a delegation from the UAE, who is visiting Mauritania to participate in the second edition of the Arab Poetry Festival in Nouakchott.
The festival, launched on Saturday, was held under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.
President Abdel Aziz held a meeting with the UAE delegation at the presidential palace in Nouakchott, in the presence of UAE ambassador to Mauritania Eissa Abdullah Masoud Al Kalbani. The meeting tackled the Arab cultural affairs and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Culture Department, expressed his happiness to meet with President Abdel Aziz, in the framework of the cooperation between the UAE and Mauritania.
