Author Rob Bennett weaves a deep metaphor for world religion in his new book, “The Legends of Theria: The Throne of Ages” (published by WestBow Press). “In a pluralistic world, it is often difficult to discern how different religions differ from one another,” Bennett says. “Many believe that they are all the same. It is through Theria that the reader will discover that things are not as similar as one would expect.” Adam, the protagonist, journeys through Theria – a mystical world, hundreds of years in the past – to discover how world religions play out throughout time. Upon entering Theria with Adam, readers discover the metaphor: not everything should be taken at face value. As Adam strives to discover himself and the role he plays in Theria, the reader – led by Bennett’s writings – explores the world of Islam from a Christian perspective. Bennett aims to help readers discover core thoughts, ideas and beliefs central to the history of Islam. “I take the complex truth of world religions and break it down with the use of metaphor so that it is easy to understand by the common reader,” Bennett says. “I hope readers attempt to understand the deep metaphor hidden in the story and walk away with a more robust understanding of different world religions, beginning with Islam.” Source: PRWEB
