John Isky marks his debut in the world of literature with “You Are Not Alone” (published by Xlibris AU). This book, a collection of his original poems, dazzles in the range of subjects that it touches but Isky’s unique literary voice makes each poetic piece relatable, relevant and emotionally accessible.
Isky’s first published book offers glimpses into his many colorful experiences – including his life and coming of age as a member of a minority group in the Middle East. “You Are Not Alone” talks about love, family, friendship and the values of human life. In the last parts of the book, Isky also expresses his thoughts on topics like education, climate change, media and politics. All throughout, he writes with clarity and the desire to inspire others.
“People around me encouraged me to put together some of my poems because they found it relevant to everyone’s life,” the first-time author says, “My book is inspirational and motivates everyone to fulfill their potential and dreams.”
“You Are Not Alone” is Isky’s first book of poems and he is currently working on short stories.
