Moroccan actress and singer Razan Maghrabi is waiting for licensing approval to film inside Egypt’s Baron Palace, marking the first scene in her latest effort, an Egyptian horror flick. Arabstoday understands Maghrabi, who also works as a television presenter, has been holding intensive behind-the-scenes sessions with director Taha el-Hakim to discuss the final details behind the new film, which will be released in 3D. Maghrabi is keen to get filming. She believes the new film could restore her place in the hearts of Egyptian cinema, following the leak of a lascivious video featuring her and a young man named Nagy Gobran two years ago.
