The documentary film "My love Awaits me by the sea" by Jordanian-Palestinian director Mais Darwazah has bene screened Saturday at the opening of the 4th Jordanian Film Days in Algiers.
Through this cinema work which is a tribute to the Palestinian painter and poet, Hasan Hourani, the director wanted to make heard the screams of the Palestinians who live under the Zionist colonialism.
"My love Awaits me by the sea", the first documentary film of Mais Darwazah is a travel diary of the director in her country of origin, which highlights the oppression of the Palestinians under occupation.
This 80-minute film were also screened at the opening of the International Film Festival of Toronto in 2013. Besides, it participated in several film
festivals like the Dubai and Ismaïlia Festivals.
Six films will be screened at the event. Two feature films are scheduled the first and last days and four short films during the second day.
