Jordanian actor Eyad Nassar has said that the film "Sa’a Wa Nesf" (An Hour and a Half) was not based on the Qalyoub train collision accident that took place years ago, but was about the stories of the people who were on the train; their dreams and their ambitions as told through every character in the movie. Eyad said in an exclusive statement to Arabstoday: “I think some people might misunderstand the movie as they thought we are talking about the accident itself, which means that we are dealing with an old subject which has already been talked about in newspapers and the media and that time, and this is not right.” He added: “If the people working on the movie meant that, they would have declared that from the beginning, the movie is about the stories of this train’s victims, about their dreams and ambitions and the details of their lives, then you will find at the end of the movie you will sympathise with them." “Sa’a Wa Nesf” stars Eyad Nassar, Ahmed al-Fishawy, Yosra al-Louzy, Karima Mokhtar, Fathy Abdel Wahab, Haitham and Ahmed Zaki. The movie is written by Ahmed Abdullah and directed by Wael Ihsan.
