Egyptian award winning documentary ‘Cairo Drive’ went through a great start on the first day of screening in Melbourne, Australia.
A great turnout was seen at a cinema hall located near the Federation Square in the Victoria’s coastal capital, read a statement by the Foreign Ministry.
The screening was attended by Egyptian Consul Khalid Reziq, the ministry added.
The Cairo Drive was screened by the Egyptian consulate in Melbourne in coordination with Urban Pharaohs' society.
It is a 2013 documentary that was directed by an Egyptian-American director and was selected as the best film in some international festivals.
