Swedish singer Mans Zelmerlow won the 60th edition of annual Eurovision Song Contest here on Sunday, beating participants from other 26 countries in the renowned international music show.
Zelmerlow, a 28-year-old pop singer and television host, represented Sweden in the contest with the song "Heroes" and won the final with the 365 points, awarded by a combination of a jury and a public vote.
Russia's Polina Gagarina took the second place with 303 points, followed by Italy's II Volo, Belgium's Loic Nottet and Australia's Guy Sebastian.
This is the 6th time that Swedish singers have won the annual contest, and it is also their second win in the past four years, with the last time in 2012. The next contest is supposed to be held in Sweden next year.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2015 took place in Vienna following Austria's singer Conchita Wurst's victory in the 2014 edition. This is the second time the country has held the contest, after one in 1967.
Around 200 million viewers were estimated to have tuned in to the event on television, the BBC reported.
