‘Prince of Arab Song, the Iraqi-Saudi singer Majed al-Mohandes will present a special Ramadan prayer entitled “Ya Rab Sobhanak” (Oh Glory Lord), written by the poet Faek Hassan and composed by Egyptian Ahmed Mohi. Music distribution and sound engineering was undertaken in Dubai by Hossam Kamel. A special edition of the sung prayer will be shown on various satellite TV stations during the first days of Ramadan. The prayer was especially created from archived Islamic works. Al-Mohandes will present the anthem in the hope that peace and security will prevail in the Islamic and Arab world to make this Holy month one of goodness, love and friendship.
