Jamie Dornan stars in a new clip from Fifty Shades of Grey.
The 32-year-old actor portrays Christian Grey, with Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele. The preview sees the character warn Anastasia he doesn't "do romance" and admit to having "singular tastes," and premiered Wednesday on Today.
Fifty Shades of Grey is based on the E.L. James erotic novel of the same name. The film is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, and follows the relationship between college student Anastasia and Christian, a businessman with a predilection for BDSM.
Dornan and Johnson admitted in recent interviews filming the sex scenes was an uncomfortable experience. The movie opens in theaters February 13, and features a soundtrack with The Weeknd, Beyoncé and Rita Ora.
Dornan currently portrays Paul Spector on BBC crime drama The Fall, and will star with Aaron Paul in The 9th Life of Louis Drax. Johnson will appear with Ethan Hawke and Ed Harris in Anarchy, and is also scheduled for Black Mass with Johnny Depp and Sienna Miller.
