Egyptian singer Amal Maher has finally released the music video for her song Ittiki Rabbena Fiya (Have Mercy on Me), having filmed it in mid-2012. The track featured on her last album Aaraf Menein (How Am I Supposed to Know) which was released in 2011. Speaking to Arabstoday, the singer said was left frustrated by the constant delays. "The song was meant to be released in July last year, but the turmoil in Egypt and the Arab world stopped that from happening. "I had several meetings with my producer Mohsen Gaber, to set a final date for the release, but every time we did it, the situation turned against us and we had to put it off," she explained. "However, we thought now is the best time to release the song, because things are calmer in Egypt and I'm about to release a new album," she added. Maher is currently busy recording her new album, and hopes she will be able to finish the project "before everything goes haywire across the Arab world again."
