The Arab Peace Initiative Follow-up Committee will convene next week in Cairo to discuss the recent Israeli escalation in al-Quds city, Palestine's representative to the Arab League said on Wednesday.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas will attend the meeting, which will be held next Wednesday at the level of Arab foreign ministers.
The gathering, which comes at the request of Palestine after consultations with Egypt, will tackle the Israeli violations at al Aqsa mosque and continuation of settlement activities in Palestinian territories.
The Palestinian reconciliation file and efforts exerted to submit a bill to the UN Security Council to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories will be reviewed as well.
