President Abdel Fattah El Sisi headed for Budapest airport en route to return home winding up a two-day visit to Hungary, said Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Alaa Youssef.
President Sisi laid down a wreath at the unknown soldier tomb in the Hungarian capital as part of his state visit to Hungary.
The president was also keen to salute members of the Egyptian community in Hungary who came from various cities to salute him during his presence to Hungary.
Earlier in the day, Sisi was interviewed by the Hungarian TV as he praised the Egyptian-Hungarian relations and asserted that the coming phase would witness an impetus for cooperation between the two sides in the political, economic, cultural, tourist and educational domains.
Sisi reviewed with top Hungarian officials the latest developments at the local and regional fronts.
