Cypriot parliament speaker to visit Egypt Sunday

Speaker of the parliament of Cyprus Yiannakis Omirou is due in Cairo on Sunday on an official visit.
Omirou will be the first parliament speaker in the EU to visit Cairo after the election of a new parliament in Egypt.
He will meet with his Egyptian counterpart Ali Abdel Aal. They are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding.
He will also confer with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail and Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
