Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr underlined that the government hopes that Kuwait's consultations slated for Monday will be successful.
During his meeting with US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tueller, the premier said that the governmental delegation was notified to act positively with the consultations to be held with the militias of the Houthis and former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh so as to achieve peace and stability.
He further underscored that peace will not be attained except by disarmament of the militias and making weapons owned by the state only, according to the Yemeni News Agency.
For his part, Tueller expressed his optimism that the consultations will be successful, noting that his country is keen on spreading peace in Yemen and solving the crisis that hit the Arab country.
