Faris Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Security and Military Affairs, today met with Giorgos Tsipras, Secretary-General for International Economic Relations at the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to exchange views about current regional developments, humanitarian support being provided by the UAE in the Middle East as well as international efforts to fight terrorism and extremism.
The duo also discussed UAE-Greece relations and ways of enhancing security and military co-ordination between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Sultan Mohammed Majed Al Ali, UAE Ambassador to Greece; Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director of European Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, MoFAIC; Fahad Obeid Al Tafaq, Director of the Economic and Trade Affairs at MoFAIC; Saeed Abdullah Al Qamzi, Director of Visits Affairs at MoFAIC, and Dionyssios Zois, Ambassador of Greece to the UAE.
