Sisi receives Yemeni vice president Khaled Bahah

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Sunday Yemeni Vice President Khaled Bahah in the presence of the Yemeni ministers of planning, international cooperation, human rights and interior along with the Yemeni permanent delegate to the Arab League.

The Yemeni vice president conveyed the greetings of Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour to President Sisi, said Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef.

He also Ssaid that Egypt is a pivotal country in the region and the cornerstone of security and stability.

He further hailed Egypt's supportive stance to Yemen and its keenness on its unity and stability.

The Yemeni official also tackled the latest developments in Yemen and underlined the importance of restoring constitutional legitimacy.

Sisi, meanwhile, affirmed Egypt's constant support to Yemen and all the efforts exerted to preserve Yemen's security and stability, added the spokesman.

Sisi also stressed that all the Yemeni political sides should continue political dialogue under the auspices of the UN and based on the Gulf initiative and its executive mechanisms, according to the spokesman.
