President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held more talks in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meetings.
The president met with his counterparts of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Anastasiades hailed deeply-rooted relations between Egypt and Cyprus and congratulated Sisi on a new natural gas find in the Mediterranean sea, said presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef.
He pointed out to promising potentials that can be obtained by cooperation in the field of energy.
Sisi praised the ties with Cyprus, appreciating its support for Egypt at the international level, said the spokesman.
The Cypriot leader stressed support for efforts exerted to resolve the Palestinian cause. He said he will visit soon Jordan and Palestine as part of this support.
Sisi welcomed the Cypriot moves in this regard, asserting the necessity to reach just and sustainable solution to the Palestinian cause with the establishment of a Palestinian state and AlQuds as its capital.
The Cypriot president underlined the importance of continuing consultation and coordination between his country and Egypt and between Egypt and Greece as part a tripartite summit mechanism.
Sisi highlighted the importance of holding this summit regularly.
The president also hailed Minsk's support for Egypt and its independent will.
He asserted Cairo's keenness on promoting relations with Belarus, said the spokesman.
Sisi said it is important to hold meetings of the joint committee to push forward cooperation in all fields.
He thanked the leader of Belarus for his country's support for Egypt's bid to win a seat in the UN Security Council.
Lukashenko praised the wise political leadership of Egypt and its achievements, including security stability and economic progress, in a short time. He said his country is ready to boost cooperation with Egypt in all fields.
Sisi reviewed during the meeting all developments of conditions in Egypt and efforts to combat terrorism.
