Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Thursday discussed with US Secretary of State John Kerry relations between Cairo and Washington.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of an anti-Daesh conference in the US capital, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
The talks took up means to boost cooperation in various fields in addition to the latest developments of regional files, the spokesman added.
During the meeting, Kerry renewed support for Cairo in its fight against terrorism.
