Qatari foreign minister meets Canadian officials

Qatar's Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al -Thani met here Thursday with David McGovern - Deputy National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, and Peter MacDougall. Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet, Foreign and Defence Policy at Privy Council Office.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Qatar and Canada, and exchanged views on international and regional affairs besides security issues of common interest.
Discussions also dealt with ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in all fields, including the military and security side.
