Prime Minister Sherif Ismail received on Thursday Jordanian State Minister for Foreign Affairs Bishr Hani Khasawneh at the end of his tenure as Jordan's ambassador in Cairo and his country's permanent delegate to the Arab League.
Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Gawish said Ismail congratulated Khasawneh on becoming a minister in the Jordanian government.
The Egyptian premier underscored his country's keenness on boosting relations with Jordan in the different development, economic and investment domains, said Gawish.
Ismail said it is important to devote particular attention to Egyptians working in Jordan, according to the spokesman.
The Jordanian minister, for his part, said the kingdom is very interested in enhancing bilateral cooperation with Egypt in a move that aims at luring investments and enhancing the volume of trade exchange.
