Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah had talks Thursday with EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process Fernando Gentilini on the latest political and economic developments in the occupied territories and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
Hamdallah stressed the Palestinian Authority's adherence to the peace process and international overtures to reach a two-state solution and establish an independent Palestinian state in the 1967 borders with al Quds as its capital.
He urged the international community, especially the EU, to press Israel to stop hampering Palestinian development efforts.
He lauded the EU support for the PA, exhorting donor states to adhere to their commitments for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
