Swedish Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dag Juhlin-Dannfelt on Friday said his government is keen on appointing a special envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), a statement by the OIC said on Friday.
OIC Secretary General Iyad bin Amin Madani received Swedish Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dag Juhlin-Dannfelt on the occasion of ending his tenure in the Kingdom.
The ambassador expressed Sweden's desire to deepen relations with the organization.
For his part, Madani expressed OIC's appreciation of Swedish firm and positive positions with regard to the Palestinian cause and other Arab issues, especially Sweden's recognition of the State of Palestine.
