Commander of the naval troops Osama Rabie met here on Monday with his French counterpart Bernard Rogel at the French naval forces headquarters.
During his visit to France, Rabie inspected the Mistral-class helicopter carriers in which Egypt has earlier purchased from France.
Rabie also visited French DCNS company's headquarters and inspected a number of naval units including Gowind-class corvette built for Egypt's navy.
