His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Charles Flanagan, Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, and his accompanying delegation, currently on a visit to the UAE.
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the Irish official and discussed with him bilateral ties and ways to enhance them.
Also discussed were means of strengthening co-operation in political, economic, investment, social, cultural and educational affairs.
The two sides stressed the importance of continuing co-ordination between the two countries and benefitting from the available potential to develop partnerships in all fields.
Sheikh Mohamed and Flanagan reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on the current regional and international development.
Present was Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court. .
