Suez Canal Authority Chief Mohab Mamish on Friday received a Congolese delegation, under Prime Minster Augustin Matata Ponyo.
Mamish briefed the delegation on the projects of the new Suez canal and the Suez Canal Economic Zone development project.
As many as 25,000 persons work at the Suez Canal authority, all are Egyptians, Mamish said.
He added that the Egypt have made a great achievement by establishing the new Suez Canal project, the most important project for the world trade, in record time.
Mamish also stressed the readiness of the Suez Canal Authority to provide technical support for Congo's national projects.
