Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on Monday with Sudan's vice-president on the sidelines of his participation in a COMESA meeting held in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa.
He hailed as "historical" the relations between Egypt and Sudan.
He stressed that Egypt is paying great attention to cooperation with Sudan in all fields, proposing to cooperate in a joint agricultural farm through which a land would be cultivated in Sudan by Egypt.
The two sides stressed the necessity of finalizing all road and crossing projects which connect the two countries like Cape Town-Cairo road.
