Libyan Prime Minister Abdallah el Thanei met on Monday with the Chinese ambassador to Libya on means to cement cooperation between the two countries.
The official website of the Libyan government said the meeting tackled conditions of Chinese firms which signed contracts with the government in the fields of oil, reconstruction and environment.
It added that the Libyan government seeks to sign more contracts with the companies in the security and development domains.
For his part, the ambassador said his country's companies signed contracts of projects worth billions of dollars including a railway and housing projects with Libya.
He expressed his country's support to Libya in various domains.
