Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan today received Thai Ambassador to Bahrain Chayapan Bamrungphong and discussed bilateral relations.
The meeting focused on cooperation in the sectors of labour and social welfare, following the recent visit of the Thai Prime Minister to Bahrain.
The minister, also Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Chairman, commended deep-rooted relations, stressing keenness on consolidating labour cooperation. He hailed the contribution of the Thai expatriate community to Bahrain’s development.
The Thai envoy commended outstanding bilateral relations in all fields hailing the Government of Bahrain for protecting the Thai expatriate community.
