Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah met on Monday in Bayan Palace South Korean President Park Geun-hye and her accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah as well as high level Kuwaiti and South Korean officials.
The discussions took up means of promoting bilateral relations in various fields for the best interests of the two peoples as well as issues of common interest, said Deputy Amiri Diwan Affairs Minister Sheikh Ali Jarrah al Sabah.
The visit of the South Korean president comes as part of her nine-day tour in the Middle East region where it focuses on wide-scale economic cooperation.
The tour includes Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar.
