His Majesty King Abdullah II voiced pride in Jordan’s fair and just judiciary “which is a key pillar in enhancing the rule of law.”
During a meeting at the Al Husseiniya Palace with the President of the Judicial Council and its members, the King said the council has much to accomplish.
His Majesty was referring to implementing recommendations of the royal committee for developing the judiciary and enhancing the rule of law.
He also highlighted the importance of approving laws proposed by the royal committee during the parliament’s extraordinary session.
Prime Minister Hani al-Mulki said the government is fully cooperating and coordinating with the judicial council to implement the committee’s recommendations and provide it with needed support.
