Chairman of the Jordanian-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Association, MP Mohammad Ayasrah, Monday, praised the strong relations between Jordan and Turkey that were established 70 years ago.
He reviewed during a meeting with a Turkish parliamentary delegation the history of these ties, the foundations of which were laid by His Majesty King Abdullah II and Turkish President , Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the meeting, attended by Turkish ambassador to Jordan, Murat Karagoz, Ayasrah called for boosting relations between the two countries, particularly in the economic and anti-terrorism domains.
Head of the Turkish delegation Ali Ercoskun stresses the importance of enhancing bilateral ties, noting that both countries have common vision on various issues.
