Jordanian King Abdullah II conferred on Wednesday in Canberra with Australian General Governor Peter Cosgrove on bilateral ties and means to boost cooperation between Jordan and Australia in the different domains.
The talks also tackled war on terror and the repercussions of the Syrian crisis.
The Jordanian king appreciated the Australian support and help presented to the states hosting Syrian refugees.
King Abdullah also asserted the importance of resuming regional and international efforts to combat terror.
He also asserted the depth of the Australian-Jordanian ties.
On the other hand, Cosgrove voiced appreciation to the visit to the Jordanian king and his wife Queen Rania of Jordan.
On the sidelines of the visit, King Abdallah held several meetings with Australian officials.
